World Championships, Pan American Championships, Brazilian Nationals, and American Nationals title holder in both Gi and No-Gi. Holds a degree in Physical Education from Methodist University in Brazil. Former amateur MMA fighter turned passionate coach dedicated to developing the next generation of martial artists.

Coach Fernanda Araujo

Lead Instructor · BJJ & Judo Black Belt

Professional fighter with deep expertise across striking and grappling. Black belts in both Jiu-Jitsu and Judo. Competed professionally in MMA and boxing. Training in martial arts since age 3, Fernanda brings a lifetime of competitive experience and teaching passion to every session.

Absolutely not. Our program welcomes complete beginners. Our instructors break down every technique step-by-step, so you can learn at your own pace in a supportive environment.

What should I wear to my first class?

Comfortable athletic clothing is perfect for your first class. We'll provide guidance on purchasing a gi (uniform) if you decide to continue training.

Is BJJ safe for children?

Yes. Our kids program is specifically designed with age-appropriate techniques and safety protocols. Our instructors hold degrees in Physical Education and prioritize safe, positive learning experiences.

How does BJJ differ from other martial arts?
